Privacy
The current encyclopedia is a reference you can read without creating an account.
Notice prepared: 8 November 2026. This describes the current site; future features will need updated disclosures before they are enabled.
Reading and searching
The website currently has no account login, personal health records, payment checkout or submission form. Library search runs in your browser; the search feature does not send your search text to an AI service or a separate search server. Search settings can appear in the page address, so avoid entering private medical information or sharing an address containing sensitive search terms.
Hosting and connection information
Cloudflare hosts this website and handles requests for its pages. Delivering and protecting a website involves connection information such as IP addresses, requested addresses and browser information. Cloudflare may process technical logs and security information. We have not independently verified every account-level log, retention or security setting, so we do not promise that visits are anonymous or that no technical data is retained.
Cloudflare security features may use cookies depending on configuration. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and its cookie documentation.
Advertising and analytics
The site code currently includes no advertising-network scripts, affiliate tracking, third-party analytics scripts or AI chat service. Labeled advertising placeholders do not serve ads. Cloudflare may provide hosting-level traffic statistics. If advertising or analytics providers are added, we will update this notice and configure the applicable privacy choices before enabling them.
Links and email
Source links take you to other websites with their own privacy practices. Following a link sends a request to that destination. An email link opens your email application; messages are handled by the providers involved and the receiving inbox. Our public support address forwards through Cloudflare to a Google-hosted inbox. The operator uses those messages to assess and respond to site feedback; sending an email does not authorize public attribution or publication of private details. Please do not send medical records, passwords or information identifying another person in a correction or suggestion.
You can send a correction or privacy question to the public email address on our contact page. See Requests and corrections for contact availability. This site has no submission form or response-time guarantee.
Future accounts and community research
Personal cloud storage, user accounts and opt-in user reports are planned features, not active services on this encyclopedia. Their data handling, permissions and withdrawal choices will be explained before they become available. Private correspondence is not permission to publish someone’s identity or story.
